The Loft Ladder is constructed from Larch timber (most are Pine or Spruce) - the benefits are: More durable and therefore less likely to show signs of wear and tear; Stronger than pine giving a "rock solid" feel in use for your reassurance; Ladder WILL keep its "shape" whereas Pine and Spruce are prone to "twisting" if not fully seasoned; Beautiful finish with less chance of splinters and fewer, if any, knots. Everything you need is supplied - Ladder delivered fully assembled, including insulated hatch, architrave and in its own frame ready for installation. Loft ladder supplied with a tough, wipe clean finish to both sides of the hatch meaning no decoration is required. Also supplied with ready cut architrave for that perfect finish. Very easy to operate - comes with spring loaded hatch door. Will fit into almost any loft - very little inside loft clearance required. Cost effective home improvement investment. Fully insulated loft hatch supplied as standard which, along with rubber seals to opening, minimises heat loss.
